Why the payment is being asked on completion of form

If you apply sooner than 72 hours before your arrival a small fee is charged for early submission for your TDAC. Otherwise you can just wait.

You would pick Istanbul for your departure country as it is the flight into Thailand for your TDAC.

I am planing to go to Thailand, stay for a month or two and then travel by train/bus up to Laos. Do I have to book a ticket for the train as close to the boarder as possible or do I have to show a ticker OUT of the country?

This is NOT related to the TDAC its related to the visa you would be entering on.

If you do not have a long term visa you will need proof of return booked.

I'm currently in Thailand and have entered February 6 as my departure date on my TDAC. But I need to leave Thailand for four days in January and then return to Thailand. Should I change my TDAC?
0
AnonymousAnonymousJanuary 20th, 2026 10:45 AM
You would need to submit a new TDAC. Once you enter on a TDAC it cannot be changed, and is only needed for each entry into Thailand.

In your case you will be entering twice so you need TWO TDACS!

What should we write in the health declaration if we have not visited any other countries in the previous 2 weeks?
0
AnonymousAnonymousJanuary 18th, 2026 5:39 PM
You should provide the country you are departing from for the TDAC if you have not traveled to any other country in the last 2 weeks.

Hello, I bought an outbound flight from Phuket to Bangkok to transfer and then return to Taiwan. For the outbound flight number and date, should I write the second flight segment? Thank you.
0
AnonymousAnonymousJanuary 16th, 2026 5:35 PM
For the TDAC, only the flights directly entering or leaving Thailand are considered. Please ignore any domestic flights within Thailand.

Is travel insurance mandatory
0
AnonymousAnonymousJanuary 16th, 2026 1:18 AM
No you do not need any travel insurance for the TDAC.

However some visas do require insurance like the Retirement OA visa.

Hi,
I am from Ecuador (yellow fever list) and planning to visit Thailand. I already got my vaccine but Ecuador does not use the classic yellow WHO vaccination book. Instead, it issues a URL that displays a document with the proof of the vaccine. The vaccination center told me it should be ok because it is an official document, however it is not the classic format. Is it likely that I will have a problem at the moment of presenting the certificate? Thanks!

For the TDAC this should be ok, just take a screenshot.

Hi,
how are you supposed to present this digital arrival card, can you print it out on paper? When you arrive at passport control.

You can take a screenshot of your TDAC, or even print it out.

I would like to ask for your assistance regarding the completion of the TDAC form.
My husband and I completed our TDAC forms for our arrival scheduled for tomorrow. However, in the meantime our original flight was cancelled and we were rebooked to a different flight.
Using my digital card number, I was able to correct the flight number on my TDAC without any issue. Unfortunately, when I try to access my husband’s TDAC using his digital card number, the system cannot find his record.
In this case, should I create a new TDAC application for my husband, or is there another way to correct the existing one?
Thank you very much for your assistance.
0
AnonymousAnonymousJanuary 12th, 2026 11:05 PM
You should just submit your TDAC again, it will not cause any issues as they only use the last submitted one.

For your TDAC, use "o" instead of "ö" because only A–Z characters are allowed in the TDAC.

Hello, I have a French passport and I plan to leave for Thailand on 2 February 2026 and return to France on 19 April 2026, so a trip of about 75 days without a visa, as I intend to apply for an additional extension at the Kalasin immigration office when I am there. Do I need to indicate a return date to France on the TDAC application form? And if so, which one?
0
AnonymousAnonymousJanuary 3rd, 2026 2:25 PM
Yes, you must indicate a date of departure from Thailand on the TDAC application, even if you plan to extend your stay after your arrival. You should simply indicate the currently planned return date, which is 19 April 2026. The TDAC is not a visa but an administrative declaration, and the departure date is provided for information purposes only, without binding effect. Applying later for an extension of stay at the immigration office, for example in Kalasin, is a normal and accepted procedure, even if the actual departure date changes. As long as you have not already obtained an extension on a visa‑exempt entry, the extension is in principle granted without difficulty. Thai immigration officers are used to this type of situation and it generally does not cause any problems.

When filling out the TDAC, I entered my patronymic (middle name) in the “patronymic” field, even though this field is not mandatory. Is this a mistake?
0
AnonymousAnonymousJanuary 2nd, 2026 1:14 PM
When filling out the TDAC, you must indicate your full name. If you have a middle name or patronymic, it should be entered, even if the field is marked as optional. This is not a mistake.
0
วินัยวินัยDecember 28th, 2025 11:47 PM

0
AnonymousAnonymousDecember 28th, 2025 7:36 AM
You will need to complete two TDAC forms, one for each entry into Thailand, and you will complete them separately since you will enter Thailand multiple times.

Good afternoon. I just want to clarify about my nationality. My passport was issued in Taiwan because I was working there. If I put Taiwan, my nationality is shown as Taiwan. What should I do?
0

If you do not hold a Taiwan passport then you have filled out your TDAC incorrectly, and should fill out another one.

Since you already entered using the TDAC you do not need to update it if your travel plans change. It is only required to be correct upon entry.

Hello,
I am traveling to Thailand on January 3. I am leaving from Germany and I have a stopover in Qatar. Which country should I indicate as the country of departure? Also, I do not have a return flight. Can I book a flight to Malaysia to justify my onward travel?
0
AnonymousAnonymousDecember 17th, 2025 4:42 PM
You must select Qatar as the country of departure for your TDAC. If you benefit from an exemption, a return or onward flight is required; a flight to Malaysia is acceptable.

2) For the countries where you stayed, write ALL of them, including your transit/connecting flights.

Hi there,

I hold a Dutch passport and my partner holds a Bolivian passport. She has lived with me in the Netherlands for almost two years. Do we need to report to the Department of Disease Control? We are arriving from the Netherlands, which is not a yellow-fever country.
0
AnonymousAnonymousDecember 3rd, 2025 8:41 AM
The yellow fever requirement is not based on passport, it is based on recent travel for the TDAC. So if you were only in the Netherlands she will NOT need a health certificate for the TDAC.

0
AnonymousAnonymousNovember 30th, 2025 4:51 PM
If your arrival is within 72 hours, your TDAC will be issued in about 1 to 3 minutes.

If your arrival is more than 72 hours away, it will be issued during the first 1 to 3 minutes after your arrival time enters the 72-hour window.

Hello, I am flying on December 5. I have just completed the form and paid 8 dollars, but I made a mistake. I filled it out again from the beginning and paid another 8 dollars, and now I have filled it out correctly. Will I have any problem because there are 2 TDACs submitted under my name? Which one will be considered?
0
AnonymousAnonymousNovember 30th, 2025 4:49 PM
Contact us at support@agents.co.th at this address. Two earlier TDAC submissions are not necessary.

It would have been easy to correct the previous application, so now just write an email and they will refund the amount you paid the second time.

Also, having multiple TDACs is not a problem. They will always consider the last, most recently submitted one.

Do I have to pay some taxes at the airport when I leave Thailand? In which currency is it possible
0
AnonymousAnonymousNovember 27th, 2025 10:56 PM
No, there is no fee to leave Thailand, and the TDAC has nothing to do with exiting the country.

If anything, you might actually get money back. You can apply for a VAT refund at the VAT Refund counter for tourists at Suvarnabhumi Airport.
